Aliens over Alien? You cannot be serious?! If more is your thing, then go see Transformers... biggest guns, military, chase scenes, explosions, soundtrack, over use of rock music and a shed load of shapeshifting seagulls, I mean aliens! You'll be heaven.

Nice one, Pete!

What it lacks in suspense it makes up for in pretty much all other departments. If Alien was ‘Jaws in space’ then Aliens is ‘Vietnam in space’. There’s more character development, more Vasquez and lines like “They mostly come at night… mostly” (Cartman’s delivery is by far the best).

And I know this is gonna be controversial, but Evil Dead III is funnier than Evil Dead II. The proof’s in lines like…

- “I am Henry the Red. Duke of Shale, Lord of the Northlands and leader of its peoples.”
- “Well hello Mister Fancypants. I've got news for you pal, you ain't leadin' but two things: Jack and shit... and Jack just left town.”

- “Don't touch that! Your primitive intellect wouldn't understand things with alloys and compositions and things with molecular structures."

and the classic…

- “Gimme some sugar, baby.”

For me it was always about quality and not quantity of aliens!

Star wars is most certainly a continuing storyline - Bond is always a bone of contention as some later ones are clearly better than some previous films.  Are they sequels though?
