Hello everyone   Last year we produced a feature short called "Xpeditions - The 3rd World". Our first of many planned shorts, we look for highly strange and out of the way places in Peru. Our goal is to build a series of programs taking the viewer to places my wife (Kathy) and I have explored, or have heard about from locals living in the region.

A little information about the program: It was shot in 4:3 with a Sony VX2100. Edited with Final Cut Studio. With the exception of the Andean music at the beginning, we produced all the music ourselves.

Markawasi is upon a remote Andean plateau 13,000 feet above sea level. The reason we choose this location is because there are an assortment of stone figures and faces found here. Many are only visible during the summer and winter solstice. Recently a team of scientists determined Markawasi is much older then the pyramids of Egypt. No one knows who made this amazing place or why.

I would like your feedback after viewing our project. I know there are better ways and your input will help us produce a better product.
